Vinyl decal maker with Ariel logos.....

I'd like to get a pair of Ariel decals (like the ones on the Atom air intake) in black vinyl to put on either side of my alloy fuel tank panel. Does anyone know a supplier of vinyl decals with Ariel templates ready to go?

I also think my steering wheel centre could use either a small Ariel logo, or the Nomad logo as they have started using on the American Nomads - it looks pretty good, and again is an easy print for a vinyl printer.

Easy enough and cheap enough to do but because of ip infringement I don't think anyone will be doing them commercially.

Someone in the club may have done some. At some point.

I see, yes I hadn't thought of that, I did think it was strange noone had listed any on ebay. I made my own bonnet badge out of white vinyl for my black body work as its such a simple design, but any smaller and they are too fiddly to cut by hand (so I can't do one for my steering wheel) I guess I can make a pair for the side of the car - but will probably go to ariel for a pair for an Atom and use those.

May be worth asking the factory on their stance.

Just because a logo is Trade Marked doesn't mean you can't use it if you have the owner's express permission.

Plenty of people stick all kinds of logos on their cars. I guess it would be a different conversation if you were looking to produce them commercially...

I’ve got a small plotter that should be able to do these.

I haven’t used it for a couple of years so it might take me a short while to get it going again so leave it with me....

I had a go at some of my own with a circular cutter and some black semi-gloss Fablon last night.... they'll do the trick.

Interested in something smaller and nice to fit on the steering wheel centre as a nice similar touch (and its too fiddly to cut a smaller one by hand, although I just managed to do one for the bonnet in white vinyl that will do for now too).

I got some small ones made for the steering wheel. Cannot recall the online graphics supplier. Will continue looking. I don't know why Ariel don't place one there like the US Ariels

I like that wheel, thanks it looks good with Ariel's logo on it. I have seen some Stateside with a small white Nomad logo to equally good-effect.

Modern Caterhams use a very similar wheel on their cars and emblazon it with their logo, a small union jack and the original MOMO logo (which I appreciated is Italian) to good effect.

I appreciate this may be a bit much for most Nomad owners who appreciate the "less is more" minimalist approach which is good too.
