Low Level
50:50 when I start it up, it flashes "** Low Level **" for a few seconds and then goes away.
I can't see (or it's not obvious enough to me, with the distracting LOW LEVEL flashing) what it's referring to. If I had to guess it would be the battery, which seems to drop to 12, then pick up to just over 14... but it could be something else.
Anyone else have this with recurring regularity, or know what level it's referring to?

FWIW, it did that from day one. No idea why.

Always done it with mine also. I thought it was the initial drain on the battery from the starter on a cold engine.

Yeah, initial battery drain warning until the alternator kicks in I'd say. Quite normal.
The other fun one is low fuel when you have between 30 gallons and -10 gallons ;-)

From memory, my car had 25 gallons on right hand corners & -5 on left hand ones.

It's pretty normal for an alternator to take a little time to start thowing current at the battery. Typically an alternator with chuck out about 13.5-14.5 volts. I think the warning may be reporting the alternator voltage and finding it 'too low' during the first few seconds (e.g. not charging). As early warnings go I think it is normal for automotive low-voltage warnings on vehicles to use the alternator input charge as a yardstick because without that you are running on borrowed time. If it were detecting a drop below 12v then you would already be in trouble. My Nomad has done this from day 1. Didn't worry me half as much as the shift lights flashing round a left hand corner when the fuel was low. Never knew THAT was a thing. Put the shits right up me until I could corrolate the lights with low-fuel!

1 red light - you don't want to go left
2 red lights - you really shouldn't go left
3 red lights - you were told not to go left

Good news though... When you stop for fuel, you'll remember what side the fuel filler cap is on.
