That is a lot of power for a dune buggy...;) sorry could not resist. Should feel great to drive. I saw the demo at the factory, love the gearbox.

Colour scheme...

There's 5 being made right?

Maybe you could coordinate and form a 5-piece?

Maybe the Spice Boys (not sure who Scary would be and I wouldn't want to be Ginger) or the Beach Boys (kinda cool). Jackson 5 might be a bit controversial, depending on how far you take the theme...

Or the Thunderbirds. Or Power Rangers. Or the Famous 5 (someone will need to be a dog, same if you went the Scooby Doo gang).

Thankfully The Village People was a 6 piece (so I'm told!).

Gonna stop now. I feel I'm not helping :-(

For what it's worth, I reckon I'd go white if I get to spec a Nomad again.

As you were...

I’m really torn on the colour, but leaning towards white ( my existing car is white too and love it), black panels (maybe carbon if option) with R yellow/gold stickers and gold wheels to match the ohlins.

Planning to track it 3-4 times a year and get some light off roads in as well, so keen on the Atom4 dash / AIM and data logger etc.

The ‘4’ dash looks good to me, but I do wonder about the price. I can’t quite work out how much of the 4 layouts frustration as expressed on the forums is justified vs the (what seems to me) clear visual improvements the the 4’s colours and clarity?

I’m not going to miss something I’ve never had. I find the older version fine, planning on watching the road/gravel/field/grit/small puddles that aren’t too deep/track/and sand, rather than my revs and worrying about lap times.

Fair point, but it does offer an overall clearer presentation of info ... shame about the price.
TBD.

Colour wise at the moment I'm still going white - pretty much matching the press car as it's the classic 'R' scheme

I just wouldn't want to get it wrong!

I'm with CAG3D on the dash - you can see what gear you're in, revs, speed - everything else is about the road ahead!

Question on the front end winch bar - I'm thinking not to have it as it's added weight over the nose and let's face it, will never hold a winch! Any downside to that thinking??

All that sand grinding into spinning things - the thought makes me wince! Although it would be a riot!!

Mud is just 'very wet' sand.

You can't own an off road car without taking it off road. Unless you do the school run of course.
