Just about as much fun you can have with 4 wheels!!!
I can’t wait to enjoy it more!

It rides brilliantly on good or shocking roads. The seats just work superbly. The gearbox will be spectacular as I gain confidence. The noise, oh the noise, is daft and just keeps you in the motorsport mode.

Surely, this rates as one of the best fun cars EVER built for the road - a perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life and not (always) at ludicrous speeds.

Wow lads, they look amazing! Glad the first impressions are so strong, when you gain the confidence your be hooning around in no time like Ken Block!

I’ve got goosebumps in excitement for getting mine later this month with Mr P.

Look forward to big ‘R’ meet up at some point.

Enjoy the weekend, sure the rubber will be sticky.

But then I realised he was taking the p*%s!!
Awesome aren’t they!
Once all 5 are out we are 100% meeting up 👍👍

For years I’ve hated the roads around where I live, I’ve dreamed of buying Jeeps and all sorts.

Now, the ‘R’ with the special box, isn’t at all pointless, in fact it ticks so many boxes, it’s stupidly quick, even compared to my Atom. The Atom loves the Track and perfect roads, but this things just wants to eat shite roads, pot holes, sunken drains and unevenness.

The transmission noise, and the screaming Charger, with the Sadev box, it actually makes a lot of cars pointless, it’s just an awesome beast!!!

And it makes you grin every time you look at it, let alone when you press the magic ‘start’ button

Oh, the dash compared to the old ones, it’s excellent. Even the fuel gauge...... ok that’s pushing it a little far. The gauge is still pants ImageImageImageImageImage

Screaming supercharger, Sadev, nothing's better.
Brilliant. And, might I say, some good writing up by you both.

Granted, I’ve only been out in it for a little while, as driving home yesterday wasn’t really ‘playing’, more let’s get home through the traffic

But having some silly fun today, the box is very hard to explain in words, it’s just remarkable, and one of the things I like is that you can actually drive it very smoothly using the clutch.

The new longer gearing suits the Sadev much better than the Press cars super short gears (it had a top speed of 28mph, in 6th at 9,000rpm )

Driving back yesterday on ‘big’ roads with just a few tiddlers to enjoy was enough to confirm the ‘R’ really is so much FUN on any surface/journey.

Drama
Speed
Control
Grip
Noise
Gear box
The elements around you …

I am smitten!

Really pleased to hear you both loving the R as much as I do! 100% agree it’s so perfect for the UK roads. Yes it kicks back and keeps you on your toes but that all adds to the experience! It’s so much fun and everybody just looks and smile/waves/“nice car mate!” Etc as you drive along.
The shock on your face when you then light it up and vanish never gets old 😬
Get through your 500 miles or so, get the oil change out the way, then trust me when I say the box becomes a whole new level of fun!
I’m going to look to get on track soon to explore it further as I think it’ll be a riot!

May I ask, do you have the option to cut the ignition, but leave the petrol flowing, on downshifts?

You'll be needing to do that in a tunnel or under a bridge.

Did you guys go for the new TFT dash or the original?

Clearly, the SADEV box, is what the Nomad is crying out for.....
