Good work chaps. This is exactly the sort of thing we need to keep organising and ticking over. Henry is always happy to help put together routes also.
Wouldn't mind tagging along on one of these to be honest. Not sure the Atom will go there but not done much green laning in a Nomad!

310=325! That'll be the Presidential Remap kicking in...

Ooops - sorry guys - messed up - 16th March i'm at Twickenham watching England NOT win the Grand Slam......can we do a weekend later ? Or maybe early April if easier ?
Maybe a bit more time makes it easier to get a full posse together

No worries!
Seems quite a few folk are busy / away in March.
There is a club run on 7th April (https://www.ariel.club/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=17297) and I'm away the weekend of 13th April, so would late April be a better bet?
As you say Trigger - gives a bit more time to plan...
I've set up a 'poll' as it were around morning / afternoon preferences over the last 2 weekends of April to gauge interest. If folk do want to tag along and have any preferences, or dates they can't make, please do take a few seconds to add your preferences at https://doodle.com/poll/qvuqix37gmykwtfh
Seems a couple of Atoms may want to tag along too. Maybe we can find some nice roads, then let the Nomads double up to take pax through some green lanes? I'm sure the Atom owners won't mind a spot of Nomad cleaning afterwards

16th looks good for me. Have MTB'd/Trail-bike ridden most of the legal byeways in that area so can try to add a bit of real-life knowledge to researching a route. The point about many OS-promising-looking routes being reduced to 2-wheel-only tracks is correct. There is a lot of 2-wheel action around that area, but not much 4-wheeled. Salisbury Plain it ain't.

OK, should have read the thread properly. Looks like 16th is out. Bear in mind 20th/21st April is Easter. It will be Trail riding/MTB riding/Rambling/Ambling to the pub Central in the Surrey Hills. Just introduce a few Nomads into the mix
Re: Anyone fancy a spring hoon down South?
Hey Trigger - are you able to export your route from the OS website and maybe PM it through?
I quite fancy a bit of a scouting tour as well and am too tight to pay £3.99 ;-)

Re: Anyone fancy a spring hoon down South?
So I planned to do a little exploration of the route today and ended up driving the whole thing ! Great fun - but here’s a recap:
First section off road is a little rough with some tree roots but basically dry and good Next section is very easy except for some large puddles to wet you: Last section - I didn’t do Admirals track but did do Hogdens Lane. It was gentle and easy at the start near Polesden Lacey but ended up very rutted, muddy, narrow (Nomad just fitted) and some pretty technical bits:
I am sure all Nomads can do it but the last track would benefit from at least front radiator protection and also the rear sump guard. A good clean will be needed though !
