I think if you'd put that W16 in the back the front would be dangling it's wheels in the air ;)

Can you imagine how much muck would get caught in that huge circular bodywork???

Yep, definitely the best example of a 'skinned' Atom I've seen to date.

Both drivers certainly gave it 100%  !

The Evo had the use of pace notes admittedly offset by having to carry the weight of a passenger.

Pity Simon had to deal with his dropping visor on the yumps!

Love the footage! :tu:

Shame about the crappy helmet Simon had to deal with. :(

Why keep both bumpers and the winch on though if they are going for the fastest time. They look really heavy! Any owners care to comment on what they weigh? I have no idea but the rear bumper is rather chunky and the winch must be pretty heavy too.

But lets also remember this is the NA version too. The s/c version would have been a fair bit faster! ;)

I don't think you'd be a whole lot faster over those tracks, you tend to be more grip limited there over the hill, although you'd make up a fair bit dropping down the hill on the straight track to the bridge.

Next time hopefully, the cameras will be mounted a bit lower down so we can also see the road ahead  :wize:

Agreed! Whilst it is nice to see the drivers feet dance on the pedals the road ahead is always nice to see as well. ;)

Hi Andy, Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I've just found mine has the same annoying noise... Mine seems to do it around 80mph with a passenger onboard. First time I've noticed it at the weekend so not sure what's changed.

I have / had 2 similar noises in the Nomad.

1st was that the engine cover needed some padding, resonating issues.
2nd rotational clacking, informed t'was brakes relating to handbrake, nothing to worry about.

It'll probably be the 1st, last time I spoke to factory they were readying a new seat you could buy at cost...
