So the weather looks to be improving for Sunday
We have 7 passes for the event so no problem getting in
See all attending on Sunday

Am I right in thinking we don't need to buy tickets online, as the FAQ in the document on the previous page said you could bring a passenger, but Nick previously posted a discount code, so I am uncertain?

Yes it was all confusing. In the end Ian blagged all the tickets.

South Wales Car Festival - IMPORTANT UPDATE - PLEASE READ
Good Morning,

Hope you are well,

Unfortunately we have had to make a drastic decision today based on the weather in the last few days. As you were aware you were positioned on grass within a field, which has become extremely wet and damp, and runs a high risk of cars getting stuck.

Having monitored the situation closely over the last 72 hours, we have taken the very difficult decision to cancel your booking for the 2023 show.

We have not taken this decision lightly and have spent a lot of time deliberating.

The show will go on for the cars positioned on the tarmac but we were already on capacity with no room to backfill based on people and clubs who have informed us that they are coming. All placements were selected at random.

Please acknowledge this email, so we know that you have seen and understood our situation. If you were to turn up on the day there would simply not be room at this late stage and would unfortunately have to be turned away.

Obviously, this would not solve any problems, but if you would like to attend as a guest and support the hospice we would be more than happy to offer you a free ticket in exchange for your parking pass.

While we understand that this is really disappointing, I hope that you are in agreement that we have made the right decision. We are extremely sorry and we hope to see you again next year.

If you have any questions please contact one of the numbers below:

Beth – 07807802656
Kris - 07870682828

Kind Regards,

Beth & The Car Show Team

THE SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THOSE PARKING ON THE GRASS

Oh that is disappointing, but to be honest I don't want to get stuck in the mud!
