I forgot to mention the hotel is next door to a Shell garage with the high octane fuel. For some reason during the 2017 Welsh Weekend we struggled to find high octane fuel in North Wales near where we were, but we found this one.

What makes you think she's a he?

But, yes, you're probably right about the parking.

Why is this called the 'End of Season Hoon'?

It's merely the start of the Wet Season, where mud tracks get interesting and dark clouds get challenging.

Bunch of soft Atom drivers!

What with irg100's 650bhp motor build and GraemeW's charger, I'm planning on a 3 day head start!

ok this is 4 weeks out now. Will start looking at long range weather forecasts.

It still looks like some of us will travel up through Wales on the Thursday/Friday 10/11 October. I will put routes up soon...give me time to recover from Alpine planning :) . Probably use much of the routes we used in 2017 which had some good roads. Others will trailer up to North Wales and have 2 days, Friday/Saturday 11/12 October driving around. Saturday 12 October will be the main day we all travel around together exploring North Wales best driving roads. Again I will put that route up soon, so the trailer people can avoid those if they wish on the Friday?

Fingers crossed for good weather. Wales is not far behind Scotland (...and the Alps) for great driving roads

Hey guys,

I know it’s got nothing to do with the Welsh blast I’m posting this on. Just thought I’d let you know, for those that don’t already know. I sold my 3.5 a couple of weeks ago. Am hoping to pick up a 4, when one comes up for sale. I realise I may have quite a wait before that happens. I can’t stand the thought of being on a 3
Year waiting list tbh. Even if I have to wait a year or more, it seems like a better bet.

I’ve still got my pal Tom, who lives nearby. He’s taken me out in his, so I still get my fix(in a way).

That was quick SvenTheHammer. Congrats!

I bet you'll make a delightful passenger ;-)

I think we'll all hear about it the second a used 4 comes up for sale...

I did Kerry's Ring many years back and tackled some spectacular roads. Ireland has a habit of being a bit damp though...
