Wings and Wheels at Dunsfold (nr Guildford) Top Gear Track

Hi all
I know a few of you have been to and driven at the Supercar days at Dunsfold.
Saturday 26th August and Sunday 27th August is the Wings and Wheels event.
It's like a cross between an air show and car show- really good day out.
I've been asked to take the Atom round as part of the Motoring Demonstration - hopefully see some of you there ?

Great day on Saturday - lots of excellent cars and planes on display.

We were all allowed to play on the runway, so they set out 1/2 mile drag strip and set us off 2 at a time.

Just as a reminder of how fast our cars are, I ran from a standing start to 150mph (indicated, so a bit less) in the 1/2 mile. As the day got hotter, the top speed dropped a bit but there weren't many other cars there that ran that sort of speed The poor guy in the Porsche 911 next to me was left for dead....

Just an early note for those of us who like cars, bikes, planes, helicopters and most other engines and wheels stuff - Wings and Wheels is set for 25th and 26th August 2018.

Just to say that it’s happening again in 2019 - it’s a really great event if you like cars, bikes and/or flying things.
I’ve put my name down and it would be great to have some more Atoms along.
