The most intriguing car of the day had to be the Fafnir-Hall-Scott, a what, yes, indeed.

An aero engine has been fitted as apparently there is an Edwardian racing class for aero engined cars, of course there is, we live in a modern and civilised country :)

Watching the owner start and stop the car he then opened the fuel filler, to check the fuel I thought. No. He the pressed on a rubber diaphragm and released the pressure in the tank. I looked at my mate, he looked at me, why was the fuel tank pressurised?

The lever and gauge to the left hand side is the fuel pump. Basically you hand pump the tank to a pressure and this is what gets the fuel down the lines! As the tank level drops you add more pressure. Probably not news to some on here but I have never seen anything of the like before.

Oh, and have a little look at the details. 10L engine, 7" stroke, 500ft/lts of torque going through bicycle tyres, only rear brakes and no real suspension, camber etc on the front. And people race them :D

Nicest ass of the day goes this Corvette.
