Twin wipers required to be able to sweep the required area of the screen - Washers are integrated into the blades with much bigger reservoir !

I should think they'll sell zillions of these in the Middle East and southern USA - places where the weather and the open spaces suit them. In the UK? Not so much.

Nice one John. Looking at rearward pictures of the NoMad I thought it must be the US spec (k24?) engine
As the engine has no exhaust manifold like on the UK R18 & R20 (1.8 & 2.0 ivtec engines) found in the current civic/crv.
Ingenious considering the benefits of bolting the cat straight to the head - I don't know why more manufacturers don't do this.

Not sure what you mean re the Cat bolting straight to the head Stu?

You can see the normal Cat bypass pipe in the picture ...

Honda on a few engines have chose to delete the exhaust manifold incorporating it into the alloy cylinder head - like on the nomad. This allows the cat to be fitted further upstream of the exhaust or being able to bolt it straight to the head. This means better heat transfer to the cat improving cat warm up & stabilisation improving its efficiency. Can't see if the nomad has the cat bolted to the head or one one further downstream like the atom.
Deleting the exhaust manifold - really good idea.
Hope that makes sense John?

Yes it does thanks Stew ..

As I mentioned, you can see the CAT bypass pipe in the normal place, so that'll be where the CAT goes if required.

If the pipe said ATOM on it I may put in an order as it looks like an extension cover over the main silencer, no discolouration?

Just a thought, maybe a stupid one but still a thought! :-

Here's an example of the K24 exhaust port Stew was describing on a US Spec race car ..

It looks like the standard unpolished silencer but with a thin polished stainless wrap around presumably to make it look a bit funky and stop little fingers getting burnt ..

I don't recall seeing how it was attached ..

This angle shows it a bit more clearly :-
