Elemental RP1 - another trackday lightweight enters the fray
First Atomised 2001.
Atom (165) > Atom 2 (220) > Atom 3 (300) > Atom 3.5 (310) > Atom 4 (350).
There is no cure.

Not bad.
I guess answering your question it depends on a large number of factors, not least:
1) Cost
2) Reliability
3) Cross purpose usability
4) Performance
Where Ariel scores so well, is that for the price, the reliability is great as is the performance, and it manages that while still being both road legal and usable, but still a good track car.
Getting the balance of those right is the key to selling into what is essential a small niche. With a small lightweight you're never going to sell into the masses, because they're too compromised (too small, too low, no room for the dogs/kids/luggage), but if you can get the balance right for the remainder, you stand a chance.
