Another tip of the day.
Another tip of the day.
Following on from my tip of not running over your camera.....
......don't take your broken camera into a shop to have it fixed. Not only does every single member of staff publicly laugh and humiliate you whilst they fill out the repair form but, they also seem able to send you out the door with a new DSLR and two new lenses.
Good grief!

O NO - Welcome to the world of expensive glass collecting - NIKON? or that other brand......
Re: Another tip of the day.
The other.
Already had an ancient EOS10D with one broken (not run over, old girl friend dropped it) and one serviceable EF lens. Also prefer the handling of Canon to Nikon. Apart from a slight lack of weather proofing the new 70d seems pretty good.

Re: Another tip of the day.
I gave up on my DLSR last year and went mirrorless. Best thing ever, not having to lug all those huge lenses around!
