Insurance costs

Post by A of D » Thu Feb 03, 2022 8:53 am

Hi All

Had my Ace 2 years now and was hoping the insurance would drop this renewal but it hasn't. Approx £500 per year for 2000 miles comprehensive. Clean license, no claims, 48 year old.

How's that comparing to you? I'm currently with Classicline as very few mainstream insurers seem to want to touch it.

Thanks

The problem is the paucity of insurers willing to take the Ace on, I find. And the ones that do, know this, and thus charge commensurably higher premiums.

My Ace is on a multi-bike insurance policy, so it's difficult to separate the individual costs. I'm with MSM, for what it's worth. They're based in Bishops Stortford, Essex. Ask for Janet.

Cheers,
Hedge
