Tires pressure tips

I recently changed my tires for a set of advan a052’s which I really like though I’m struggling to get the tire pressures spot on.....

Too soft and I can feel the sidewalls flex (unpleasant) too hard and the car gets very floaty after about 60 mph. What are you running for road use ? any tips or pointers warmly received!

Cheers.

I'm using the same tyres and I am currently using :

Front : 16psi (1.1 bar)
Rear : 19psi (1.3 bar)

Which work well for me!

Are you from the USA? ("tires") 🤔 🙄😉

I always used 1.1 and 1.3 as cold point as well. On trackdays i let them off to these points as well

Thanks for the tips - I’m running mine too hard by the looks of it, I’ve got 1.6 bar on the front and 2.1 on the rears.....

Tyres / tires - Originally from the UK but now weirdly Euro localised, which has further ruined may already poor spelling ! :) ;)

Cheers!

I think the AO52s have soft sidewalls .The factory recommendation is 21 24 psi cold . I run them at 25 psi all round hot on track

Thanks for the book pressures Ray! I guess you have an atom4? I’ve got a 3 with smaller wheels 15 + 16’s not sure how much difference that makes.... I’m going to try both pressures and see what I like, I prefer slightly too firm over too soft but will see how it goes!

Cheers

Quick update - on my Atom 3, 1.1 at the front and 1.3 on the back is pretty much spot on.

Thanks for the info!
