This sounds great....in terms of insurance most insurers want an ATDO (association of track day organiser) event organiser in order to offer cover for the day...where would the club stand in this respect? Its the most boring question i know but probs pretty important for most of us.

That is a really good point, Classicline for one expect ATDO organised, or a club day, I suspect the easiest way may be to have an existing operator organise the day for us ? opentrack would get my vote ..

Just had confirmation on dates:- (Javelin will be running the event on my behalf)

2 Days at Anglesey 13th and 14th June

Target price is £500.00 for the 2 days with very limited no's. We will be using the 2 layouts coastal and international. Price might go up depending on No's but hopefully not by a lot and if price goes up no's go down so there is a plus side to it

Plan is for everyone to stay in the same hotel (Approx 30 cars) as it is also very much about the social side of the trip.
Please let me know if you are interested and I will add you to the list

Along with the Anglesey trip, I was just having a look at the Opentrack website and they've got a Bedford GT day on the 23rd of July for £230 with free tuition and photos. I know they normally have a Boxing Day sale so I'm going to wait until then to book it. I'll post it up on Facebook too and hopefully we can get a little gathering of Ariels together 👍 Alternatively 10th September at Bedford GT is £185.
