Hi
New to the club and interested in trying an Atom as a track car, objective is to acquire an alternative track car to my Porsche, which has become a garage queen.

Are there any recommended providers?

The only one I'd recommend is the Jonathan Palmer, PalmerSport at Thurleigh , Bedford.

But .. they do have modified Atoms run on LPG, but you wouldn't know the difference - also have the Sadev sequential gearbox, so they're not exactly your typical spec)

At least you get to drive them a lot and you are ecouraged to give them the full beans.

The others are a let down - you spend a while getting there, drink coffee, hang around, listen to talk in the classroom, get a few laps with an instructor, then a few laps with you driving around a made-up track with cones.

Best idea is to hook up with an owner and get some passenger rides on the road or a track day.

Thanks for the advice John.

Are there any owners out there prepared to tolerate some ballast for a session?

Would there be any possibilities at the Castle Combe track day on 21st Sept?

That would be ideal  :vroom: :checkeredflag:

You could experience just about every Atom variant - maybe with the exception of the Atom 500 or Mugen ..

Perhaps the factory could bring the 500 'P2' (or is it the 'P1') out for a battery-charging session?
