$85 Track day at Willow Springs- Horse Thief Mile - April 2-3rd in SoCal
Re: $85 Track day at Willow Springs- Horse Thief Mile - April 2-3rd in SoCal
I've never driven this one before. Opinions?
I've been on the Big track and the Streets track, both a lot of fun in an M3. I am nervous about take the Atom out there because I'll likely spin off a couple times and all that gravel, those rocks, and some nasty ditches could spell disaster (if nothing else, at least for the paint).
I like California Speedway because it's mostly very safe to miss a turn (you just end up on more tarmac).

I think it's a fun track to go to and it's a cheap track day for $85 bucks that's a hell of a price for an all day track day.
I think Saturday is almost full but Sunday there's plenty of open spots.

Horse Thief is a much tighter track based on videos on YT. Looks like lap times are around a minute or so? Probably would be great fun in an Atom, but I'm curious about the pavement condition.
