Hi everyone,

My name is Tim, and I will be picking up my first Atom (a 220) on Saturday.  I am based in Cheltenham at weekends and Shrewsbury during the week.  I look forward to making use of the forum and meeting some of you at some point.

Cool! Welcome, Tim...

There's a fair few Atoms round your way on here, I think. One of them shall come posting soon.. :tu:

Is it new or the yellow one on PH?

Cheers, Hedge

Hi all,

Good to hear form you.  For those who are interested, yes, it is the yellow one on PH.  Knowing my luck it will be raining all day Saturday when I go to collect it!

Great to hear there are some other owners in the area too - I imagine that I will come begging you for advice at some point!

Cheers

Tim

Hi Tim

I'm about 30mins or so away in Stratford on Avon.

First thing I'd do is get a copy of the fantastic owners manual that gives loads of practical and technical advice. The Factory will send you a copy for a few quid.

Cheers

Just noticed the car you're getting also has the Alcon brakes all round :tu:.

IMO more important than a supercharger, and pretty rare on an '05 car too.

Thanks Rob.  The Australians can always be relied upon for crazy place names, such as 'The Knob Creek Nature Reserve' as featured here!

Thanks Rich, I will be sure to get hold of a copy!

Is that your Microlight?  I have a PPL myself and am currently training on Helicopters in the RAF.

Was - recently sold. Gonna take up Paragliding/Paramotoring to get flying further afield (have a family place in the Alps, and visit Spain/Portugal a fair bit).
I literally live under Wellesbourne's circuit so if you ever come out this way give me a shout.

There's also another owner  who flies helicopters in the RAF - Adam T.

Cheers

Rich
