Thanks, I feel very lucky to have purchased it. Yes, it’s being upgraded with the 350bhp conversion and a few other “essentials” currently.

I am interested to see how the screen actually is - all of my Atom friends inc Hans K, Ian G and Andrew M all run their cars without screens but if you saw the stone damage Hans K inflicted on my Porsche 991.2 you will see why a screen and ppf is a must for me!

I actually think that the windscreen markedly improves the look making it look far more rakish than with the aero screens.

It also, in my opinion, transforms the driving experience by removing the need for a helmet not to mention by adding a bit to the performance as it markedly improves the aero - especially if side panels are also fitted!

I'm running for the Anderson shelter as I send this! :fence:

autobackup wrote: Fri Jan 21, 2022 3:26 pm Before I fitted the windscreen, while I always used polycarbonate sun glasses to protect my eyes, but if it was a hot day I frequently drove my Atom without a helmet - until the day, that is, I got hit on the forehead by a random (smallish) stone thrown up by the vehicle in front which hurt A LOT, shed copious amounts of blood and required 4 stitches!

I'll never ever drive a windscreenless car without wearing a helmet ever again!
