Atom 4 Ordered...

...just need to wait 3 years for them to build it!

Currently have an FK8 Type R and a Caterham 420R - I can only imagine how fast the Atom will be with the (modified) Type R engine in.

Absolutely love my 420R but it will be 5 years old by the time the Atom comes and will probably fancy a change by then - I thought about a 620R but the fit/finish/reliability of the Atom swung me - plus I am 6 1 (97kg) with size 13 feet and whilst I can just about cope with the peddle box on the 420 - it will be nice to be able to heel and toe properly again!

Just waiting now for Henry to let me go for a test drive now and go over some spec with him once the lockdown is lifted.

Oh, and my wife isn't happy...I'm waiting to tell her I need to rebuild our 1930's garage for it to fit in to.

Great news... do tell us though if Ariel let you have a test drive, as it's been a big negative point as people so far haven't been allowed to.

It's on my order form - so I'm definitely getting one. I think they may have made an exception because I placed the order blind in the lockdown. I'll be sure to report back once I've driven it!

I don't suppose Ariel will be allowed to take customers out for the test ride thanks to social distancing rules, therefore, maybe test drives are back on the agenda?

The current situation with test drives is insurance related, I believe.

Im sure you’re right John, especially the you tubers and the like.

It would be good if test drives were allowed from here on, let’s see.
