Atom Newbie

Post by MartinsAtom » Sat Feb 29, 2020 9:37 pm

Hi All. Newbie here.
Used to race 2 stroke Karts in the 90's.
Then built Dax Rush Cosworth Quadra. Many a happy trackday in that.
Sold that in 2017 (wish I hadn't!). Have 1100bhp GTR R35. Fantastic car but too big to really chuck about. epic on European roads and 200mph + autobahn blats, so keeping mainly for touring and meets.
Get my track dedicated Atom in a couple of weeks, once a dream now coming true! Cant wait.
Martin

Hi Martin
What atom are you getting? Are you going to get it on the roads? I got my atom last year but not made a track day yet, but will do some this year when the weather improves! A lot of similarities to a kart, I also raced karts in the 90s, what and where did you race?

Hi Gordon. I'm getting atom 3. No plans to make it road legal, just gonna trailer it to track.
I used to race in 100C class karts, mainly Rye House, Tilbury and Buckmore.

I did jnr Britain and 100 national at clay, rissy and dunkeswell so unlikely to have crossed paths. Have fun with the atom when it arrives, a bit different from the GTR.
