So, now I got the right power😀
After installation of the K24 crank pulley, 1000cc injectors, fuel sensor, alco reader and a Hondata Flashpro it was time for a new dyno.
My ECU are from a civic Si 2012 us only.
We struggle whit the base map because Ariel has done massive changes in the oem software.
After roughly 8 hours of mapping we finaly got it almost right.
First test for two months ago we got 17 Celsius in the garage, this time it was 32 Celsius...
We ended up whit 360hp and 370nm on E70.
So over 60hp more than before🙂
The only thing that's not ok is idle and small throttle openings.
My tuner is not surten how to sort the idle, now its rough and moves up an down...

Good stuff! Sounds like you are almost there.

I have no experience with tuning for E70 though. What would you get on 100RON "super" unleaded?

Have you mapped it for that as well?

So, if I wack on a bigger crank pulley and remap...

We still got winter E85 when I filled the cans, hence E70 now E85 should be available.
I got 10psi now factory claims that K24 3,5R should have 9psi.
So I guess that I would hit 370hp whit E85 and normal temperature.
Cooling seems to work god enough, we will se when I hit the track...

Tom (factory) said to me that 2 laps would be epic, then the temps would rocket. Will be interesting to hear your track experiences.

Yes so I heard, but E85 runs everything much cooler so hopefully it will work🤔

Run in on the RR at high throttle openings for 5mins (to simulate a few laps) and see what happens with the temps?

If you have some powerful fans blowing into the radiator, intercooler and inlet there should be no risk.

Ariel obviously found a problem in their testing as they deliberately reduced the boost. They wouldn't have done that if there wasn't an issue.

Did your tuner look at the intake air temps while tuning on rolling road
I am assuming your 3.5R has the factory fitted intake air temp sensor (I had them wire mine so could see temps on the Dash)
The boost sounds about right but it’s the temps that need to be controlled. The E85 will help but the chargecooler on the JRSC is only small (if on original JRSC manifold )
I struggled with mine to keep temps from climbing about 50 degrees above ambient which meant approx 15% drop or loss of 50+bhp
Good luck with track test but intake temp data would show if it’s under control
Cheers Stuart

Interesting info Stuart. What's involved in getting the reading on to the dash?

Ideally you need to run a DL1 datalogger as the dash 2 display only has a few analogue inputs which I think are all used by Ariel on a standard car
Once the DL1 is fitted it connects to the Dash and provides a further 6 analogue inputs which you can easily program on a lap top to say which appear where on the 5 screens you can scroll through
You can also change the oil pressure sender on head so actually reads oil pressure instead of just the standard yes you have oil or no you don’t
I had oil pressure oil temp boost pressure fuel pressure water pressure and intake air temp on mine
It’s really just buying the sensors and running the wires to what you need a reading for
Hope this helps Stuart

There is one spare input on the 3.5 dash. I used it for oil temp and also switched the oil pressure sender to read actual pressure. Ariel took care of the dash programming.

I can se the inlet temp and a lot more in the dash on the phone via bluetooth from the flashpro, realy convenient.
On hard street use whit outside temp on 20 Celsius I got around 50 Celsius inlet temp.
But I guess it would rise on the track.
The main concern now is the hunting idle problem, calibration on the e-throttle is a challenge...

When you say hunting idle problem do you mean on tickover it randomly revs up to say 1500rpm then back to 1000rpm and keeps doing it while ever running

According to my tuner Ariel made a ton of changes from the oem Civiv Si map, so we needed to build it up from scratch.
When try to find idle its oscillating from 2000 to 1500 and after a while slowly find a reasonable idle.
