New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

Post by Bybarth » Mon Sep 09, 2019 4:07 pm

Hi,
I youst bought a 2016 3.5R whit only 4000k.
I will pick it up this evening, looking forward to finaly explore a hot Atom!
I been racing several years and the cars got more and more extreme, last was a Porsche GT2 RSR twin turbo whit 750hp wich I raced the Swedish time attack series whit.
But I has been appealed by the lightness and simplicity of the Atoms for some years!

Will probably ask a ton of questions ๐Ÿ™‚

That does look MEAN for sure. :tu:

Are you missing some rear bodywork there though?

I can't see the rear "tea tray".

I would like to know what diameter the crank pulley measures on yours? It will be either 150mm or 170mm

This is how it looks now, full repaint due to a small crack in the nose that needed to be repaired but the colour match was not ok so decided to repaint the lot!
The colour are Lamborghini performante orange whit pearl and metallic, tricky to get right...

Are you going to dyno / rolling road test your mods? The airbox and inductions mods might gain you a few hp (but its not assured).

What are the next steps? I am guessing this is going to be a thorough upgrade plan! :)
