Picked my 3.5 up on Friday

Post by SvenTheHammer » Sun May 03, 2015 1:44 pm

Hi,
I picked up my 3.5 Atom 310 on Friday, and have to say I love her!

I am brand new to Atom ownership, so will be asking questions whenever they come to me.

Firstly, can anybody tell me what temperature should the engine be warmed up to before you can give it the beans?

Best

Sven

Thanks for that.

Help!!! I've just gone to take her for a spin, and tried to put the steering wheel back on. I'm probably doing something stupid, but I can't get it back on. First time I've tried, lol

Good news on your new arrival.  I picked my new 310 up the day before you.

You'll find that despite the water temp getting up to temp quickly the oil temp takes a reasonable time longer.  I found this on my Caterhams.  It's best to wait a little longer if possible before you're tempted, but then that Honda lump is pretty bullet proof.

Happy and safe driving  :tu:
