Wow you're like the brother I never had, Elise=Speedster (sort of), Golf=Golf...

When selling the Mini I was thinking of buying the Atom I now own. It was a great little car with a Knight Motorsport spaceframe. Engine was a stage 3 build engine from Holeshot. I drove around at about 350hp most of the time, but when boosted up to about 500hp (on 500kg) the front wheels lifted! The thing was pretty insane, but I didn't manage to use it as much as I wanted, due to too much cabin heat (turbo right against the firewall and my aluminum seats) and way too much noise, as in 106db at idle...not engine noise but annoying resonation.
It really was more of a racecar rather than a streetracer, the Atom is so comfy now!

Maybe my older cooler brother!!!  O0
I had a mini for about a week. Had a lot of 'race legal lightening' (rust) when I was about 17.
Watching the road zip by was not good. Ended up giving it away once I realized what a pup I'd bought!
Yours is stunning - amazing - work of art. I'm gobsmacked!!!
So other than the Viper, I'm guessing your back home in the UK?
Must have been pretty wild driving a viper back there.
What do you do for a living?

Just seen the Flying Dutchman. Hence the viper plates. I didn't realize they had them over there. Was it special import or a limited thing?

I am 30 years old, so not so sure about the older brother thing!

The Viper was a special import, it had been imported from the US of A from new by the Belgian importer, for private use. It featured some television commercials and shows. I bought it from a dealer a couple of years later, I’m afraid I paid about double the price you paid for your newer GTS in the USA.
I’m in the wine business, I’m not complaining at all but I’m nowhere near rich! These cars I owned were all safed for my whole life. I don’t own a big house and don’t have a nice big garage to fiddle on the cars. (all’s been done at the company).
I do about everything myself on the cars, which makes things affordable.

The Mini was a UK special one off, Hillclimb build

Ok ! It's mini-shaped, but it's not a mini  ;)

Saw this today

Amazing idea. Modular Tesla floor pan with the batteries sandwiched between the metal sheets for super low center of gravity, excellent balance (motor at back and battery cooling and steering at front) but all I could think about was what an amazing beach buggy it would make!
Am I so very wrong?

Been looking for a pic of me in my Westfield. Maybe that's one I have over the Flying Dutchman! :D

Yep I did not have a westfield....but the day I bought the mini, I actually went out the door to buy a westfield v6, only a couple were made (st220 engine) The car was rubbish, so I went of and came by the Mini and took it home without thinking! I was so disappointed about the Westy I just had to buy the Mini.
Our taste is just identical, show the Westfield please!

Just spent a good 20mins looking for a pic but can't find anything.
When I do I'll post it.
I'm 42 - 43 this week so I have a few extra years on you!
That said I had about 4yrs off car building while we built a house.
That was also the first time I sold an unfinished car. I bought the first DNA 360 in the US the. A small person joined our family along with a house resto (my wife's house) and building a new one at the same time (still not finished the final floor but we live on the main floor and upstairs).
I was forced to sell the car unfinished to pay the final Stucco payment until we sold the wife's house.
Once that went things eased up a bit and started the fun again :)
This is as far as I got with the MR2 kit.

Sad day when she went. She's been finished by the new owner and sold on since. Biggest regret was I never got to drive the finished car!
