Re: Hello from Germany
Is that a set of mov'it brakes? Only people I know using the Porsche/Brembo built setup for other makes.
Re: Hello from Germany
@Driver,
yes, you are right it's mov'it because they have TÃ?V. I have put the Porsche logo on
the caliper myself.

Re: Hello from Germany
I have a similar mov'it setup on my Chevy. The Porsche logo was already there. I so wish a Brembo package was out there for the Atom. They are so much better IMO than Alcon as they span the street/track category much better. Especially the Porsche caliper as Brembo builds them with internal seals to keep the grit out, something neither Wilwood or Alcon have. Add the stainless rotor and it's just so sweet.

The MGF trophy setup is made by Brembo iirc and should fit the Atom.

Re: Hello from Germany
it's the wide variety of pads you can use in this caliper.
EBC green stuff is a good choice

Re: Hello from Germany
Is the MGF Trophy stuff a 4 piston caliper setup? My Google search shows it's a AP sliding caliper design as well, not brembo fixed 4 pot caliper based.
The cool thing about mov'it's setup as has been mentioned was the 4 pot off the dealer shelf calipers and rotors from a Porsche Motorsports catalog item. They adapt them to fit a wide range of applications from old muscle cars to modern supercars to withstand AutoBahn duty. They even have the newer mono block design as well as ceramic based setups with 15" rotors last I looked. As Porsche items the aftermarket pads are plentiful, and at the same time a set of pads is as close as your nearest dealer. Really are a thing of beauty. Their site is at http://www.movit.de I don't see them touting the Porsche connection as hard as they used to, wonder if they are still sourcing from the catalog there.

Re: Hello from Germany
Movâ??it isnâ??t allowed to use the Porsche logo anymore, they used to sell
the Brembo callipers and put a Porsche logo on it, and Porsche didnâ??t
like that. So now you only can buy them with the Movâ??it logo.
Itâ??s really a thing of beauty like you say; I also use them on my Seven.

Sorry AP 4-pot caliper not Brembo. Looks like a fixed caliper to me

I upgrade the brakes on my Atom with the R114-4 Calipers from Hispec all round, using 280mm discs the Stopping power is great.

Hi Austrian , how so much power from 2,5 litres?
Is it reliable- I might be interested in upgrading my WRX.
