New (CA) Bay Area Atom owner checking in

Post by Shooterblaze » Tue May 08, 2012 2:09 pm

Hey All,

I've been wanting an Atom for years and finally pulled the trigger last week. I met Calscott last year at monterey and look forward to meeting more of you in the future!

Mods planned...
Seats, Rear wing, RPM wheel and a bubble alternative

very nice - that exhaust looks a little tight next to the roll bar extension. wonder if the downward facing exhaust pipe helps with noise reduction?

You're Costa's buddy, right?  Welcome.

Don't get the RPM steering wheel if you're over 5'8".  It's easy to fab your own shift light for about $20 and a few hours.  I can show you mine sometime soon.

I have a guy in socal building a much better/functional wing setup for an AA3 than anything on the market today - I can out you in touch with him if you want to build an AA2 setup.

Cheers,
Jason

[/quote] Thanks! I'm not sure if the angle of the exhaust helps all that much but I'm working on building a custom setup. :)

Hey Jason,

Yep, I'm friends with Costa. Thanks for the pointer on the wheel. I'd love to see your setup.

Thanks, I would really appreciate that. What wing are you going to mount on it? APR?
