Had a good look at the photos of the original 2018 3.5R - can't quite make out the rear brakes but possibly the Sports Brakes - standard bench seat, no High Level Brake light fitted, Bilstein 10 way dampers - the sports exhaust is both a complete waste of space and money.

Also the rear spoiler appears to be set at a very strange - almost positive - angle!

Curious to know why it's all tricked up with a racing number - could it possibly be that it's been tracked/raced with the odometer disabled as 500 miles is ridiculously low as has been pointed out in a previous post?

Incidentally it appears that I was logged in for a couple of posts as a 'Guest' when talking about the upgrade to my 3.5R in 2018 - I've absolutely no idea why as I logged in as normal.

In answer to the question by Speedmachine about what other bits and pieces I had done to my Atom when it was being upgraded the following things (from memory) were added/updated during the rebuild :

Ohlin TTXs
Zircotec 'Volcano Black' fully ceramicised exhaust system (inside & out)
High level LCD Brake light
Full Windscreen package
Full C/F dash upgrade plus RT2 Plus LCD dash
Latest Satnav
Stilo DG10 Race intercom + 2 x noise reducing headsets
Polycarbonate Clear Side Panels
Electrical harness replaced with the latest iteration
Latest style of wing mirrors

Suzuki Celerio 1.0 SZ4 (Cyprus)

Hmmm lots of good info. here - I've got an Atom3, so not sure if there is even a reasonable route to 3.5R. If that was in the 10-12K ballpark, I'd be interested but not sure I could leave it with the factory for five months, unless it was over the winter....

I'd also like the Ohlins as a starting point (please pm me if you want to sell a set) but really crave the power upgrade, which I presume means Pods, Charge cooler, an ECU (maybe), frame mods and plenty of other sprinklings of the Ariel magic™! ;D

Probably more sensible to hold out for an Atom4 at some point in the future, but think I'd miss the 'Scream' and the slightly unhinged nature of the 3/3.5/3.5R.... Tricky!!

Sorry, I meant the Atom link in Johns first post.
It does not have Alcons on the rears.
Also a bit unexpected for an "R"

50k car imo.

Just seems like a moderate spec 3.5 with the pods

Only the power bump with pods is a 1 day job for around 12-14k (price increased I guess)

Already under offer, probably at or near asking price. The factory sold this one last year at a very similar price - it looked lovely and will no doubt hold its value, if not appreciate.

This is my old Atom 3.5R had from new in 2015 and factory sold it on for me back in 2020 regretfully!

Not dropped much in value since i sold but a good example will always be wanted and make the money if looked after!

Got to say i still prefer the R over my 4 for many reasons but i guess we all move on to better things hopefully!! :-\

Looks like its changed hands a couple of times now but who ends up with it now will love this rare model.

Cheers

Daz
