Well - I've bought it!

Went down to Kent to see it yesterday.
I got taken out for a 30 minute 'test ride'.

The rest is history!

Now all I have to do is tell my Mrs the extension is going to have to wait! (I'm not joking)

Fantastic news! And I’d only got as far as £1.67, so you defo beat me to it.

Do stick around here and tell us all what you think when you’ve driven it, etc.

And defo enjoy it!

Still can't believe that after 10 Years looking, debating, bottling, and dreaming, - I actually now own an Atom! (The one on my original post)

My friends are all commenting about how long I have dreamt of having one.

Absolutely buzzing!

PS. I've actually told the wife now, and she says she knew all along.
She's even 'let' me have the tow bar fitted to her car (it has more pulling power than mine).

Just need Covid to bog off now.

Life is so good!

Well how long as that taken?
I am today, finally the owner of the Atom mentioned on this post, and it is (as I speak) in Crewkerne getting its 4 yrly service, before delivery to my house next Tuesday.
Excited is an under statement!

Welcome, a fantastic early Christmas present. Are you having any upgrades fitted (assuming it's easier to sneak them past the wife if she hasn't seen it yet)?

A bit late to this,

Great Xmas present! That will be the best car purchase decision of your life. The thrill of driving that may just make the Suzuki redundant, get rid of that and your wife will love the Ariel to bits! Carte blanche with upgrades/track days/foreign trips etc etc.

Well done.

Took it out for first time proper yesterday (90 Miles). A few lessons learned already:
1. It's absolutely fast as fook!
2. Owning a fast car doesn't make you a fast car driver.
3. I am never going out on wet tarmac again on purpose. (see 4)
4. These are as difficult to clean properly as you could ever imagine.

Re. point 4: I wouldn't recommend you getting a Nomad then. An Atom is a doddle to clean, next to one of them..

Cheers,

I reckon I could get an Atom just as dirty - if not more...
