Re: Atom 4 for auction
After adding the 6% buyers premium to the final bid and considering that, to all intents and purposes, it's pretty much the bog basic spec for an Atom 4 whoever wins the bidding will likely have paid dearly for the privilege of not joining the build queue wait!
To my mind I rather suspect that the original purchaser is not a true 'Atom head' and only bought it with the express intention of flipping it ASAP for a quick profit?

I suspect you are correct autobackup. The first thing I would change are those hideous wing mirrors. The alloy ones are glorious with a tinted mirror and Ariel logo really do improve the look and not very expensive either.
To get this car in a good spec as a bare minimum one would need to spend quite a few ££ i.e.:
- adjustable shocks - Ohlins
- AP racing brakes
- remote brake bias
- decent Willans harnesses
- baffled sump
- stainless fittings on brake a clutch lines or they will rust
So add on another £10k or so and it will be a great Atom. Or another way to look at it, if waiting in the queue that additional £10k premium could pay for a sequential gearbox.

Yet another and it's the first one on collecting cars with what seems to be a very high spec, it will be interesting to see what it goes for.

Decent spec. Ohlins, Traction and Boost, AP Racing brakes. You would hope that it goes for over 60k, but I do think the time has gone where they were fetching the 10k-15k over list. I wonder if they will break even on this one
