2007 Ariel Atom 2 for sale.
Comes with the Supercharged GM Ecotec engine, 245hp which is the best package to have.
The beauty of the Ecotec engine is that you get your torque lower down in the rev. range around 3,000rpm, compared to the Honda engines where the power comes on around the 5,000 mark.
This car dynoed at 228hp which puts it around 268hp at the crank.
Actually, Brammo 300hp Atoms put out similar horse power numbers.
This car is fully registered and titled in California, which means you will never have to smog check this vehicle, ever in California.
You can modify the engine, add a turbo or whatever you like without having to smog check the car.
This is very important, because registering a new or out of State Atom in the State of California is a crap shoot, as the State only issues 500 exemptions per year, on Jan. 2 for a population of 30 million people, so if you miss out you would have to wait an entire year in order to try again, and that's with no guarantees.
