Wanted: Atom 2 (245)

Hi everybody!

after selling my Elise i'm in search of an Atom 2 245 or 300.

After a lot of reading and searching for informations and details I prefer the following specs.

- Registration 2006 or previous
- Hondata (KPro) ECU
- Road package
- Alcon Brake Kit with Handbrake
- Baffled Sump

Milage is also not that important… more important for me is vehicle which has been a very good maintenance (complete service history) and good overall condition.

As I imported previous vehicles from the UK... LHD or RHD is not that big of deal for me.
If you have something to offer please let me know.

That's a nice car, but I think for European reg, it needs to be 2006 or earlier

indeed a very nice car but unfortunately Bruce is right with the limitation of the registration date.
It's crucial to get a registration 2006 or earlier.

What kind of budget do you have? I may be tempted to sell my 2005 2/245 with a view to upgrading.

Hi Oliver,

If you are looking for a "2" its first registration should had been before 2006 because of EURO 3.
If your budget allows it you can also look for a "3" with first registration before 2012 (please doublecheck), because of EURO 4.
The K20Z4 fulfills EURO 4, while the K20A does not.

You could also look for a 2 with an MBE ECU and replace the ECU afterwards very easily by one with OBD interface. Price would be about 1000€ (to be honest I was not the one to find out this solution )

I think your budget is a bit tight, or is it in pounds? I have a very nice Dutch registered 2 for sale on mobile, but I'm sure you found it all ready. Good luck with the search.
