Another manifestation of greed!
They should drop the word SPORT from all that involve money as it's a bloody sham. Give it up to all the cheating greedy bast*rds.

The ECB (cricket Board) are Money Makers too, offering Andrew Flintoff only £25k, that is nothing, thank heavens he said no to that contract, he is now the first Freelance Cricketer of his generation.
He will become a better player imo from this decision

Re: Renault F1 - race fixing admitted
If anything this makes me think F1 is more of a sport than a business - its always had cheating as do other sports. Bloodgate in rugby, mangate and doping in athletics, diving and stamping in football. F1 has also seen its fair share of cheating with Flav and Symonds tampering with fuel rigs at Benetton, Schumacher's shunts, McLaren's photocopying etc. Same old, same old.

I actually think John's anti-capitalosm tireades are all a big bluff card (Frank Muir, anyone?)
I reckon he sits as a non-Exec on around 20 boards, working around 20 hours a month, claiming for about 200 hours, as well as stiffing each company for his 1st class exes. Lunches at his club etc, all that ol jazz
Honest!
Cheers, Hedge

You seem to be hinting that that would be a bad thing...
I don't understand

Briatore must have a future in Italian politics. He lies, he cheats and he has a certain attraction to young ladies. Berlusconi will snap him up.

Ok, specifically to this topic, nothing. I was taking the chance to allude to your often-quoted rants against greed/ money etc etc, that's all. I'll remove it now, was just a light-hearted comment

And like Berlesconi, he pumps money into a football team, Berlusconi = AC Milan, who cheated a couple of years ago, Briatore = QPR, who if cheated would get it wrong and backfire!

Whilst we wait... Here's some footage of the race last year that I hadn't seen on the BBC site...
Check out the formation lap at the start, and the look on Piquet's face at the end...

Yep, I think Picquet's expression says it all really.
