GM: It's not our problem

This is classic.  We don't use mercury switches.  That old GM company did.

Automaker's withdrawal hurts toxic parts cleanup effort

Sure makes me want to by a Volt.

Didn't I read somewhere that GM was trying to clean up its act, and appeal to people more, so they could sell more cars? Wonder if GM got that memo?

Best not. In years to come they'll be saying, "We don't use that material in our batteries any more. Take care of your own toxic waste."

In a few years from now GM will be saying "No,we don't stock any parts for your 3 year old Volt"...

Oh wait,it's already hard to get GM parts for some models...

General Motors to remove its 'Mark of Excellence' logos from new cars

Shouldn't be a problem for GM, says Conan O'Brien: "The GM Mark of Excellence logo normally doesn't have to be removed because after 50 miles it just falls off."

I believe they were told to remove it due to false advertising laws... :D
