Riders of the race for me:

Marco Melandri, the bloke can ride on the pace a bike that is only 5% factory built, literally.

Mika Kallio, a real find for Alice D'antin Ducati, long may it progress.

The top 5, no surprise, even if they had thier own 'small' problems, chatter and brakes mainly.

I am starting to like the BBC Coverage a bit more, Charlie Cox has always been a great BTC commentator and i think that him and Steve make a great team.

125cc:

BRADLEY SMITH WINS BY 15 SECONDS, what a race, that was the best race in 125cc and possibly in all categories i have ever seen, drama everywhere the champ leader crashing on the first lap, i right old squable for 2nd (almost 8 riders consistently with a chance).

Jonas Volger??? Who you may be asking, he started 36th, got up to 3rd in the 2nd to last lap and dropped it, unlucky, he is my rider of the day and the Eurosport commentators rider of the day.

Scott Redding, nearly 3rd, but finished 4th, if he had got onto the podium, that would have been the first time 2 brtis got onto the podium since 1976 lol.

Good 250cc race great win for Honda, (first for a while) for Hiro Aoyama, Bautista, Simoncelli top 3.

OK MotoGP race spoilt by BBC hosting it live not Eurosport, Good win for Rossi good podiums for Pedro and Stoner, great ride by Melandri on the 5% factory Kwaka.

Cannot wait for the other races and the WTCC later on today,  bring it on.

George Lawrence really tried Valentino, but in the 125s the rider celebrated a lap to early, and came 4th lol.

Yes that GP was the usual average 2/3 of the race but that last bit was a great example of modern, passionate racing.

Totally agree, I really can't remember the last time I saw a duel that exciting in any form of Motor Racing and the bonus of 3 riders tied at the top of the table on points. If F1 goes up the creek at least there will still be great racing on the tele

Flame on....

It's kind of staggering what these guys can achieve isn't it. You have to take your hat off to stoner who's riding a but if an animal - he was exhausted
How did rossi make that last corner move and not drop it. He is one seriously intelligent guy  :tu:

BTCC 1992 last round, 3 drivers seperated by 3 points - 10 minutes, but this is all or nothing racing.

I totally agree there have been some great last laps, Nakano Jacque, Gibernau Rossi, but that Motogp race this weekend just beat it.
