Not really, I get it.

It does make you sound really old though (ouch ;D)

Quick, someone get this man a cardigan and some comfy slippers.

GT3 looks like a great choice, tempted myself.

That's the problem - it has to be epic in some way to give the thrill the Atom gives !!!!

I don't think it can. maybe hyper car performance like an Ultima would cut it but I don't think so.

I was taken for a lap around the Ring last year in a very well driven, uprated power & brakes GT-R and it was fabulous............but it still does not deliver the adrenaline rush that you get when you are driving at one with your Atom on track.

Just buy something cheap for winter days and keep the Atom for the Summer. I really couldn't give a toss being overtaken in the MX5, in the Atom you are expected to obliterate everything but the MX5 it's the look on some peoples faces as you come sailing by that is pant wettingly funny.

Oh crap, I've just realised I've turned into my Dad...when did that happen? :wize:

Yep a gen 1 997 GT3 or GT3RS will be high up my list when it comes to make a change along with something fully track focused not necessarily anything too fancy - at this point I could go either route

Got the prospect of freezing my gonads off Sat taking the car to Crewekerne for MOT and service ahead of start of track season - hoping weather gets a shade milder !!

Despite the fact that Karl blew the engine up at Brands last week(I'm sure it was him and not me ;D) it is cheap as chips to sort out and is a total blast. Every time we have been out in it we have had a serious laugh and it handles so well that it punches way above its weight.

It was fine when I left it with you to drive home in - A1 condition- you broke it, like you did the ADR at Spa, Snetterton etc etc and then blame me :D I see a trend my friend. You are my fourth child!

The KTM is absolutely great, I love the quality of it,  the engineering detail and the way it makes me happy just looking at it.
The Atom is the same, but my wife commented that the atom looks plain and old when they are parked side by side. I love them both as they offer two very different driving experiences. Again the mrs wants me to sell one, but I have explained in detail how they differ, and that I do indeed need four track cars, a daily driver and a GTR!!!! Women ;D

Cheers

Karl

Karl,

You're a bit of a legend to be honest. An Atom AND an X-Bow is top skills.

Gonna get the latter one day.

Cheers,
Hedge

Hedge

always welcome to take the KTM for a spin if i see you on track.

Good to see you sold the trailer.

i need a trailer that will suit both cars , but the KTM is so much wider than the atom. don't fancy doing £10k on an enclosed Brian James trailer, as they treated me so poorly last time. my local trailer rental company don't offer one wide enough and the nearest one that does is in Northampton!!!

hope you are enjoying the Porker and the mighty multipla

cheers

Karl

We'll hook up on track one day this year for sure  :tu:
Still got the MM - even though I got the Honda to replace it. Glad I never got shot cos the Honda's going anyway  ;D
The Porker is great, I love it. It's really got under my skin.
Cheers, Hedge
