Yeah, XFR is probably bargain of the century second hand if you can live with the fuel consumption figures.

Still, if I'd bought a McLaren, I'd be about £50k down after 1 year so could have been worse!

Ross/Ben did you get yours superchipped....made quite a difference with my diesel Alfa, so may consider it in time.

Cheers Wattie

Nope, wasn't any point in my case given my trundle to work in busy Manchester traffic every day.

But you would have had a McLaren.

Nope, being a company / lease car means this is not really an option and Clare is not that bothered.  If it was mind I would

I'm  keeping an eye on used prices...Mini One, 911 or cheap second hand McLaren....I'm so random.

Those are all directly comparable cars so I don't see what the problem is.

Well, just got the Shaguar home...2250, over 9 hours of driving today. What a car!

Fantastic colour and classy interior. Spent a few hours reading the brochure in advance so i was relatively familiar with the controls. Dealer spent time familiarising me with them too and was very attentive.

Thought the smiles per gallon with my old Masser would be hard to beat but after today I'm pretty confident the Jag won't disappoint.

Very comfortable, found a perfect seating position quickly, over 43mpg on the way back, 75mph on cruise and cross country driving.

Fab B&W hifi.......makes BOSE look ordinary, easy to pair ipod, blackberry etc etc

Incredible gearchanges...virtually undetectable....even got it in Dynamic/Sport which firms things up but still comfy in my view.......and my god can it shift....it just goes and goes!!!

Think Kel summed it up on the M42....."it's like being in 1st class" before she quietly nodded off.

Totally delighted.

Cheers Wattie
