Firstly fellas hats off to all UK Atom owners....you lot are completely mental!



We're about to fly back after a quick 4 day visit .....can't wait to thaw out. Bloody freezing ( I know, it ain't even that cold yet!)....no way on this planet could I drive an Atom here.

Managed a visit to Masarati Edinburgh and blagged a test drive of the GT s (gotta stop buying cars first without driving them!)

Oh God, it's fantastic.Completely different to the 4.2 so I'm over the moon. Different steering weighting, engine response, feel.....and total quality finish. The noise as anticipated is off the scale. Proper hardcore mental......awesome. Suddenly sub 20mpg doesn't matter....can't put a price on  smiles per gallon.

Didn't wanna get out at end.

Gonna finish off some bits and pieces this week and aim to get our one shipped ASAP.

The wait'll be agony.

Thought seriously about driving it from uk through Europe to Athens...to a ferry to here, bit of a road trip/ holiday for Kel and I,  then reality dawned and I don't really think going anywhere near that area is a good idea now.

Drove my mates Lambo (sensibly) a few days ago and enjoyed the experience, quite a machine. Shift paddles were a little awkward to find as they're quite small....I kept pulling the indicator stalk. It's exhaust note is  quieter than the Maserati, think he'll be surprised when he hears it.
