"Single seat" is enough for me to move on - saw the test in TG mag and got emails from mates asking if I'm chopping the Atom in for one but 1 seat doesn't do it for me
As an illustration i did Vmax at the weekend - crap really for an Atom but the smiles on faces from the passengers was worth the drive to Brunters - same story with track days - OK im sure it's great but not for me

Totally agree, some of my more memerable moments in the Atom come from taking people out in it. You can try to describe to people what its like but nothing comes close to allowing them to experience it.

When I met Briggs at the launch in March 2011, then oply option he perceived as a must have for residuals, was the race dampers.

Re: Bac Mono road tested!
I shared a garage with a guy up at Oulton earlier this year who is friends with the boss and had been in the car.
He said don't go and look at it unless you are prepared for leaving £80k lighter.
This guy had driven and raced some interesting stuff and reckons it's the absolute mutts nutts with no consideration given to anything other than putting the best bits on the car.
Like most cars, it was originally envisaged to be £40k retail but..........
If you can get over the one seat thing then there's nothing to match it that I can think of.
Cheers,
Stu

Re: Bac Mono road tested!
The car is lovely - no question. But I also like the whole passenger thing. It would pretty dull after a while to not be able to take anybody with me. Also a long trip would be pretty miserable with just a very small storage area in the nose.
It strikes me it is such a small niche market that it will not sell in the required numbers for them to be here in 10 years. We'll see.
I am always keen to see what I will get next but for reasons above, I wont be investing in this so 'I'm out'...
