That was a great race and a well-deserved win

I love it when a nice guy finishes first and sets an example...

I didn't see the race but just saw a clip on the news re the Button/Hamilton incident.....interesting! Bound to create a bit of tension in the McLaren garage....rarely a positive outcome when team mates clash.....just shouldn't happen.

Shouldnt cause too much tension. Hammy was wrong to think there was room that side as Button was always going to follow the racing line. Tough break on Hammy tho as he was so much faster he had to try and go past.

Epic race...on the edge of my seat for the last part of the race, i knew jenson could catch Vettel.
and a marshal falling over (twice) clearing the CF remains of Heidfelds f.wing , and Schumacher showing us the magic's still in there somewhere

I think they hired the marshalls from Chuckle Brothers motorsport PLC, as one fell over during Friday practice when it was not even wet.

Live I went from laughing my head off to "oh my god he is actually going to be run over" in about 0.5 of a second. He had been on the beer for sure.

Are we getting blase about the season being full of excellent racing?

Germany was one of the best, and closest, races all down the field I have seen for ages.

Brilliant race, superb result.

I thought the second half was a little dull, but the first half was some of the best wheel to wheel F1 racing I have ever seen.

Hamilton - absolute was on a mission.  Super solid- focused through qualifying.  Outstanding performance.

Have to say - Alonso is growing on me - as a driver and character too - never thought i'd say that.....maybe he has just learnt to mature within Ferrari

Vettel is still a wee boy bless him who's being flattered by Adrian

We really have been spoilt over the last few years - absolutely incredible racing/driving/engineering/strategy/drama

Great race.  Bit disappointed that the sign down the road wasn't red today though.

Seems a little early to start a 2012 thread, so I'll put these links here:

Autosport reported last week that major revisions of 2012 schedule are being discussed.
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/93442

The new potential schedule moves U.S. to November and allows for an in-season test...

but another report from last weekend suggests there are team concerns about logistics:
