Lotus Exige Scura at Tokyo Auto Show

Doesn't sound all that special to me - 22 pounds lighter and 17 more hp than an S 240.

However I have decided that if I ever own an Exige I'm going to paint it matte black.

Gorgeous car but there's going to be 2 problems with it...

It's a lotus and as such the paint is not guaranteed unless you use the lotus cleaning products etc... As i read in Jalopnik i think...

Even so, they're not very inspiring about how long that paint will last...

Secondly, the price is just too much... For that much money you get at least an Atom or a Porsche or a Z4M coupe...

But the car's looks are hot!

Is it paint or a wrap? My guess is it's a wrap from the wording...

Anyway, matt finishes are usually wraps.

in the US this is referred to as murdered out......lots of expensive cars have been repainted flat black......always paint never a wrap

Seems to work for Fiat powered Lancias as well.

and apparently for full effect you should coordinate your wardrobe as well.
