Much cooler than that useless Dale Arden.

Great press conference!

Nice to hear 'robot' drivers being argumentative in public!

Stunning lap by Lewis considering fuel, KERS advantage??

Being a spectator at Abu Dhabi does have some great sight lines for multiple corners.

Yawn (as JC would say...)

We had to wait 54 laps for some interest...

Great track, shame about the racing.

Sigh.

Have to agree that race was rubbish, save the final two laps.  Was it the first time someone has said 'fu*k' on Sunday afternoon BBC tv ?

The problem is it is one designer called Herman Tilke who has been responsible for most of the recent F1 tracks and does not seem to be that good at it.

Hats off to the BBC coverage of the 2009 season, though

It's been brilliant - and even Jake Humphries, who I was skeptical about at the beginning, was absolutely fantastic.

The red button forum was amazing - and so relaxed like mates chatting after the racing... Excellent

Looking forward to the BBC coverage of 2010.

I'm far from being a green, save the planet type, but what is the point of having the race at dusk so the second half is under floodlights?  Half the world's being told to reduce their energy comsumption, while the other is illuminating a racing circuit, because some people think it's more dramatic.

I'd far rather watch a race at Silverstone or Spa where you can see by the scenary where they are on the circuit.  These new circuits are like racing round cones on Tesco's car park and the gimmicky tunnel exit from the pit lane; is that supposed to make it more exciting?

Rant over and now slow, deep, breaths. :wize:

Probably held at dusk to appease the Western TV companies so that it can be shown live at the right time.

Also there's the heat issue. I just came back from a week in Dubai last week - It was 38C daytime, dropping to 28C night time and that's mid-October ..
All the malls and offices were well air-conned though - even the bus shelters!

I believe they're working on an air-conditioned beach next .. (I'm not joking !)
