Tired of tyres

Post by Bruce Fielding » Tue Sep 13, 2005 11:34 am

I have separated my rims from my tyres and so have the following for sale - in pairs or as much as you want

Technomagnesio rims mostly in reasonable to good used condition
4 x 15 inch six spoke
4 x 15 inch multispoke
2 x 16 inch multispoke
2 x 17 inch multispoke

Tyres (all with masses of tread)
2 x Dunlop SP 9000  195 50 ZR 15
2 x Dunlop SP 9000 225 45 ZR 16
4 x Michelin Pilot 195 50 ZR 15
2 x Bridgestone SO3 195 50 ZR 15
2 x Bridgestone SO3 215 40 ZR 17

Plus
2 x Dunlop R 195 50 ZR 15 (very little tread)
2 x Dunlop R 225 45 ZR 16 (very little tread)

Just make me a sensible offer - I need the garage space.

I think you missed the word 'sensible' in that last line...  ::)

Bruce, how do the Dunlops compare with Continental Sports? ARe they softer/ more suitable for track use? Any ideas?
If they are a better bet then I'd be interested at the right price. Please email me to discuss prices.

Sorry - no experience of Conti's. But the Yoko's are great, the Dunlop R's were great, too. The Michelins are good compromise tyres. The wets are good in the wet, but slidy (and squeally) in the dry - lots of fun, though.

Just sold four Technomagnesio rims (2 x 15 inch multispoke and 2 x 16 inch multispoke) and the 2 x Dunlop R 195 50 ZR 15 and 2 x Dunlop R 225 45 ZR 16 tyres

If you're thinking of having a set of winter wets as well as summer slicks, you'll need tyres ands rims! Get em while they're going...
