Aerofoil / rear wing wanted
Aerofoil / rear wing wanted
Hi, Does anyone have a rear wing/aerofoil they wish to sell for my 3.5 atom
I’ll take both Front and rear with brackets if you wish to sell complete.
If none for sale can anyone recommend one as I understand Ariel no longer supply them and the skunk works ones are lacking somewhat in terms of quality.
Regards
James

Re: Aerofoil / rear wing wanted
I had one of their dual element rear wings - the front one was standard Ariel.
The quality was very good indeed.

Many thanks for your reply John.
This is exactly the one I want Seems so nice...
There are 2 alternatives of dual elements: 110 and 130mm. Which one is it?
Problem is to get the mounting brackets above the exhaust pipe:
Reverie doesn't provide this piece and proposes to contact Shunkwurx. Shunkwurx doesn't reply to emails and the Ariel Factory doesn't have anymore and will no more produce it.
Any idea how to get one?
Best regards
Xavier

Re: Aerofoil / rear wing wanted
Hello Xavier
The rear wing that I had was the 225mm and 110mm version - they didn't have the 130mm option at the time.
They applied clear epoxy durepox coat to it first and then 2k acrylic coat so that it had the high gloss finish to match the Ariel front wing.
If the Ariel factory can't help, I think that Skunkwurx is the only source unless someone on here has some that they no longer need.

Hello John,
Many thanks for your reply.
Last contact with Reverie is that they will try to find another supplier or possibly make in-house...
Have a nice evening
