Atom 3/3.5 roll bar

I will start by saying I have no real idea of the second hand price of an atom 3/3.5 roll bar.

I got this roll bar with an atom I purchased recently however it had never been mounted to the car. When trying to install it, I came across some issues which meant it wouldn't fit. I contacted Steve at the Ariel factory and after a bit of digging, it turns out I own one of two atom 3 chassis with an MSA mounting point vs the standard atom 3/3.5 mounting point.

Long story short, it doesn't fit my car, but it will fit a normal atom 3 or 3.5 chassis. I am looking for around £500 and prefer collection due to the odd, cumbersome size of it. Location is East Kilbride, Scotland. After speaking to the factory a new standard Atom 3 roll bar would be circa £800 plus vat. So inclusive of vat this would be £960 plus delivery. With this in mind, £500 is around half price for a genuine Ariel roll bar, so to me seems a fair price. That being said, I'm open to sensible offers.

My second option is to modify the roll bar to fit my car via the Ariel factory, but this involves sleeving it and welding additional bits. So it makes sense to try and sell it and put the money towards a new MSA specific roll bar for my car.

It comes with all the mounting hardware and reducing inserts for the rear mounts. Not only will this help in an unfortunate roll over, I've been told by the factory that it stiffens the chassis considerably and allows the suspension to work better. It is powder coated in silver, however there are some small chips and scuffs. As far as I can tell, it's a lightweight alloy and weighs around 8kg.
