For Sale: Sports Exhaust for K24 Atom or Nomad

I am selling my Ariel supplied sports exhaust for a K24 engine. £500. Collection or I can arrange a courier for extra cost

The exhaust has only had about 3500 miles through it and is the non tarnishing polished stainless steel type. I will give it metal polish before it goes.

I am probably in a minority in that I prefer the standard exhaust, although I do enjoy the extra crackle and pops on downshift with the sports exhaust. The garage also needs some more space.

Is this different from the K20 then?

Obvs I can't make measurements but it looks exactly the same as the sports exhaust on my K20. I think the only difference with the K24 is the outlet from the engine into the exhaust pipework, but this is downstream of that.

I think Graham mentioned this due to being obviously cautious, since he can't try/fit it to a K20, but has done so with a K24, that's the safest way for him to sell it. Personally I suspect it'll work just fine on a K20.

Thanks Phil. They look identical, but when Ariel were taking orders they had different lists for K24 and K20, so I assume there is some difference

Have you had the box DB tested before a track day? If so, what was its output?

Hi Simon. No I use the standard exhaust for trackdays. So haven’t measured sports exhaust but would expect it to be more than 100 db at 4000 rpm, which is more than most tracks allow. There are a few where you could use it
