I was really referring to the horse and cart not paying congestion charges but with regard to recycling, we have weekly collections by the local councils up here so don't have to rely on private enterprise to do it.

You have, however, reminded me of another thing I remember:-

91. My dad following the horse and cart up the street and shovelling up the droppings for his allotment.

100. Having to make a real effort to sneek a look at a playboy....(now its at your whim in seconds...terrible)

103. My mum used to make superb small cakes. When she'd finished with the mixing bowl she used to pass  it to me to eat the last yummy remains
