Just to clarify:

ANYONE can read this forum - for free

ANYONE can register for this forum and then post to it and contribute to it as much or as little as they like - for free

IF you join the Ariel Atom Owner's Club, you are currently entitled to various things (and more are on the way) - including being able to view the members only guides section on the main atomclub site AND to gain access to an area of this forum which contains posts relevant to members, such as members only events, and threads which would benefit from not being available to the general public (such as car security issues). It makes sense to me, and I hope it does to you, too.

Agree a members only section on the forum is no different to the old fashioned way of printing and posting a club news letter.  Having a section on this forum makes contacting club members very cheap, possibly even free!  So the money can be spent on important things like annual trophies for me spinning too much
