Welcome Steve, to the forum and the spun out an Atom club.  Was Bob in the car when you spun it?  If so, how hard to he punch you?

Your haircut seems like it'd be great for driving, because wearing a helmet all day doesn't mess it up, it just makes it look more like its supposed to, right?

I gave Steve a ride in Session 3.

We spun out on the 2nd lap (I'm gonna blame cold tires) and Steve chickened out after 2 more laps...

At least, that's my version of the story.

Here's a vid of various short clips I took at WCA.  I think I see Darth, Fiesty, Wayne, WildWill, Cactus, my dad driving my car, SharpAtom, etc on there.  What I like about this one, is that it shows how we had the place to ourselves.  Makes me wish I would've taken more video of the pits and stuff.

Oh that's funny.. when I was coming off track, that was when my supercharger belt had disintegrated.  I couldn't tell, was my car the first car on the vid?  If so, then you probably saw the belt come off, LOL!

how did you drive off the track without a serpentine belt?  Isn't that needed for stuff to run?

The alternator wasn't charging the battery basically, and I had no boost... thats about it.  As you can see, I still didn't get passed

Coolant pump is not on that belt ?  Honda's is. Mine has supplementary electric pump and I imagine yours too, but not at as great a volume flow.

Water pump is engine gear driven, basically alternator and blower..

had to be doggy with no boost..
